    "Population: the 48 sets for which we hold both a plain 36-pack booster box SKU and a priced card list. Box prices are sealed_products.price_usd, synced daily from the sealed feed; the 48 rows carry a median age of 4.96 days and a maximum of 6.96 days as of September 4, 2026. Card prices are resolved through the same canonical-printing rule the card pages use, which prefers the canonical printing over the dump's dearest-printing field; across the 9,139 pooled cards holding both, 2,410 disagree and 298 disagree by more than 20%, so the rule changes magnitudes materially even though it changed no set's chase card identity in this study. Ten chase prices were verified card by card against the live per-card endpoint and five box prices against the live sealed endpoint. Half boxes, cases, Elite Trainer Boxes and bundles are excluded from the headline comparison by the same classifier the rip tools use; ETB and bundle figures appear only as sensitivity. No pull odds are used anywhere. WotC-era boxes are excluded as mislabelled. Legendary Treasures prices 115 of 140 cards because the Radiant Collection subset carries no product ids; the verdict is insensitive to that gap at an $18,750 box. Ratios move with both legs and six sets sit within 10% of parity, so treat any single ratio near 1.0 as unresolved rather than decided."
