Era ratios are medians of female cards ÷ medians of male cards within the same rarity tier, aggregated across the era's sets; sample sizes stated per bar. Same-set tables compare cards from identical sets and rarity tiers only; Gym-era rows are 1st Edition Holofoil prints on both sides. Graded figures are median recorded eBay sale prices per PSA grade with comp counts, from the PPT eBay export of July 26, 2026, comp counts are lifetime recorded sales, not PSA populations. Growth figures compare the median of each card's first and last 14 daily prices over each card's full available history for 41 marquee cards, pulled July 29, 2026. CORRECTIONS AND LIMITS, added 2026-09-22 on an independent recompute against production: four of these cards still have an unbroken weekly series in our own tape, and three of the four growth figures were low because the window in fact opened in spring 2025 rather than on January 27, 2025 as stated here. Measured from the January 27, 2025 reading to the July 29, 2026 one, N's Resolve is +140.3% (not +90.9%), Brock's Grit +82.0% (not +69.2%) and Volkner +81.7% (not +59.5%); Lillie's -3.5% reproduces exactly. N's Resolve's July 25, 2026 price was also wrong: the tape reads $123.23 on that date, and $97.85 was a reading from an earlier month. Those four figures and the line chart have been corrected, and the chart's fourth series, N's full art, has been replaced by Brock's Grit because a later refresh truncated N's series and it can no longer be verified at any 2025 date. The +34% and +19% cohort medians rest on the other 26 English cards, whose series were truncated by the same refresh, so they could not be re-derived and stand as published; on the four cards that can be checked the male side understated more than the female side, which would widen rather than narrow the gap the piece reports. All raw prices throughout are TCGplayer MARKET prices, which are asks, not sold comps; the graded columns are sold medians and are labelled as such. The ~230-name gender map is an editorial artefact and is not published here, so the era ratios cannot be reproduced from this page alone. The cohort composition, as published: 30 English (full January 27, 2025 – July 29, 2026 daily history; the +34%/+19% medians use only these) across twelve set groups, ten gender-matched, plus 11 Japanese cards (shorter history beginning late 2025) forming three more gender-matched groups; the eight-of-thirteen compression count spans all thirteen gender-matched groups. Raw pulls archived for recomputation. Japanese prices are TCGplayer prices for Japanese-language cards sold in the US, a thinner market (median 5 active sellers) than Japan's domestic venues; treat JP levels as indicative. The JP era-median rows pool the Super Rare and Special Art Rare tiers to reach usable sample sizes (pooling is mild: the SWSH-JP era reads 3.8× pooled versus 4.0× on the Super Rare tier alone, with an identical female median); the JP same-set pairs above compare identical tiers only.
